King victorious at home duals, results by team

BRISTOL, T.N. – – King, Presbyterian, Tiffin and Ferrum competed at the King Duals in Bristol, Saturday.

King picked up dominating team wins against all three opponents—of 19 matches total, the Tornados individual wins were highlighted by 7 falls and 7 techs.

“It felt good to get the first couple matches in for the year, which gets a little rust off,” said King’s Jason Moorman. “We did some things pretty well today, and definitely have areas of improvement. The team is looking forward to the rest of this semester. We have some really great events coming up in which we are excited to compete and further test ourselves.”

Duals are a big portion of schedules this year, and King placed second at last seasons NWCA National Duals tournament.
