– The Menlo Oaks are the 2019 WCWA & NAIA National Team Champions, with 3 champs at the 2019 WCWA’s and 5 champs at the 2019 NAIA’s.
– SOU had 5 All Americans split between the WCWA National Championships and NAIA National Invitational
– Both programs are part of the Cascade Collegiate Conference
– The Raiders are competing under the direction of a new head coach, Joel Gibson


Saturday, Nov. 9

Waldorf University Open

– Augsburg (led by Coach Max Mejia) and Grand View (led by Coach Angelo Crinzi) are making their 2019 inaugural season debuts
– This is the first time in Iowa history that two in-state women’s wrestling teams will compete against each other (Waldorf & Grand View)
– There is a potential for 15 returning NAIA All-Americans, and 3 WCWA All-Americans to compete from combined rosters

Clubs: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI Women), Lehigh Valley Wrestling Club (LVWC), Misfits, Edge Hoboken

Notables
– ESU is a new program this year and this is only the second event for their season
– Limestone will make its debut on the mats under the direction of Head Coach Brandy Green and Assistant Coach Randi Miller; 9 incoming freshman are registered
– This will be the first open tournament for the first-year program at Presbyterian College
– King has 6 returning All-Americans registered
– The ESU Open will be on FloWrestling


Adrian College will be competing at the Ryerson Open in Toronto, ON.
