6 Oaks win individual titles, Menlo secures first-ever CCC Championships

Ashland, OR – – Menlo College continued to showcase their team dominance at the first-ever Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships. The Oaks outscored Southern Oregon by 15 points, leading the way with 6 champions. Precious Bell received Outstanding Wrestler, and Head Coach Joey Barang was selected as CCC Coach of the Year.

Southern Oregon put 6 wrestlers in the finals, but ended up claiming only one individual title which ultimately took them out of position for the team title. The University of Providence had two champions, and earned the Team Sportsmanship award. Eastern Oregon’s Jessica Dehart won the 116 pound bracket as EOU’s lone champion.
